Drugs, guns found in Tucson home

Law enforcement officials have discovered drugs and guns in a suspected stash house on Tucson's far east side.

Pima County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home on the 9100 block of East Loma Linda Place after receiving numerous calls to 911 reporting suspicious activity, Sheriff's spokeswoman Dep. Dawn Barkman said.

Barkman said authorities seized 21,000 pounds of marijuana, 15 kilograms of cocaine and numerous assault rifles and body armor. The value of the pot is estimated at about $10 million.

No arrests have been made in this ongoing investigation by the Counter Narcotics Alliance.
